Este exótico colar graduado é composto por pérolas barrocas Edison cultivadas em água doce, 10-14 mm de brilho intenso e 45 cm de comprimento.
As pérolas Edison só foram descobertas nos últimos anos e representam uma inovação recente na categoria de pérolas de água doce. Em vez de cultivar essas pérolas com um enxerto de tecido como todas as outras pérolas de água doce, um núcleo esférico é usado. Este é o método usado para cultivar as pérolas de água salgada mais exóticas. Os resultados são simplesmente incríveis. Pérolas para olhos não especialistas são praticamente idênticas às do Mar do Sul australiano, as pérolas mais valiosas do mundo.
O brilho dessas pérolas é tão intenso que é chamado de "metálico". Formas irregulares dão uma aparência muito natural e orgânica.
O colar é amarrado em seda com um nó entre cada pérola para evitar que se esfreguem. O fecho em ouro 18 quilates está equipado com uma aba de segurança para que o colar esteja sempre protegido.
