Hello, I'm Miguel Carabel Martín, I founded Secret & You with the aim of continuing in the sector to which my family has been dedicated since the 60s.
Both my grandfather and my parents have dedicated themselves to jewelry, especially pearls, so it has been practically impossible not to become fond of these incredible gems.
In addition to all the inherited knowledge, to increase my training I obtained a graduate degree in Gemology Specialized in Pearls, from the American Gemological Institute “GIA”.
In 2017, at the age of 26, I decided to found a brand dedicated exclusively to the sale of jewelry specialized in cultured pearls.
From the beginning, our goal has been to offer high quality pearls , at a good price and with all the necessary information so that customers can buy the product they are really looking for.
After six years and more than 30,000 products sold, we still have the same objectives.

Why pearls?
The reasons are countless, but here are a few:
Pearls are the only gems produced by a living being , which is simply amazing.
They are the most ecological gems in the world. Unlike the rest, which are extracted from the earth, pearls are cultured, so the environmental impact is infinitely lower. Both saltwater oysters and freshwater mussels require clean water to create pearls, so the industry makes great efforts to keep waters free of pollution.
They are incredibly diverse due to the wide range of colors, sizes, shapes and places of origin.
You never go wrong with pearls, they are suitable for any occasion.
How do we get our pearls?
All our pearls are chosen one by one by me, Miguel Carabel, founder and graduate in pearls from the GIA, American Gemological Institute, the most relevant entity in the field.
We work directly with the producers of each type of pearl since they are produced in different parts of the world.

Pearls are something so unique and unpredictable that certain producers look for a particular type of pearl, some are focused on the production of small sized pearls, while focusing on larger ones. There are those dedicated only to baroque pearls, round pearls and even experimental farms.
The quality of our pearls
Our pearls shine and are pretty . Only 5% of the pearls obtained after harvest meet our quality standards. We do not offer dull pearls or pearls with obvious imperfections that make them undesirable.
Since we want everyone to be able to enjoy pearls, and because we are only dedicated to them, we are very competitive in all price ranges, but always meeting our standards.
In addition to quality, we do not limit ourselves to offering only classic round pearls, we offer different types of pearls resulting from the most innovative production methods, such as Édison or Keshi pearls, difficult to find in other less specialized sites.
Our prices
To offer the best pearls, we travel to Asia several times a year and buy thousands of pearls directly from the producers.
The pearls are personally selected to ensure optimal quality and look for good opportunities.
Our pearls, quality and price , are difficult to match throughout Spain and even Europe since we sell many more pearls than any jewelry store in the country.
Because we are only dedicated to pearls, we obtain and sell a very high volume, so we can offer pearls of the highest quality at very good prices.

Our Materials
We use precious metals and high quality materials. 90% of our designs are made of sterling silver (925) or 18k gold (750).
All other designs that include or are made of another material are perfectly described.
However, quality materials are not enough, our jewelry is created to last and be resistant. Our earrings have pins between 0.9 and 1 mm thick and large nuts, which hold them well. Our necklaces and bracelets are professionally spun with silk thread and a knot between each bead and our clasps are sturdy.
We put a lot of effort into offering the best pearls, so our materials are also up to par.
