Rhodium Plated Sterling Silver Keshi Freshwater Pearl Earrings 9-10 mm and 11-12 mm

Sale price£123.00

Women's earrings with three 9 - 10 mm and 11-12 mm keshi baroque freshwater cultured pearls. Design in 925 thousandths sterling silver plated in rhodium.

Keshi-type freshwater pearls are very special pearls, they tend to be flat, especially in the larger sizes, and their intense shine and baroque shape are the most notable characteristics.

In addition to their characteristics, the cultivation process of these pearls is also very special. To grow traditional pearls, a piece of tissue from the mantle of a donor mussel is included in a mussel and returned to the water so that it surrounds it with nacre and creates a pearl, two years later when it is taken out of the water to extract the pearls it has created, on some occasions, if the pearls obtained are of good quality, the mussel is closed again and returned to the water for another long period, but this time without including any nuclei. Since the pearl sac was already formed the first time, the mussel continues to generate nacre, which gives rise to a wonderful Keshi freshwater pearl.

At Secret & You we are proud to be one of the few brands that offer this type of good quality pearls.

If you like long earrings and are looking for an original and sophisticated design, these are perfect for you.
