Elastic Bracelet with Cultured Freshwater Keshi Pearls 8-9mm asymmetrical, 18cm.

Sale price£35.00

This bracelet is made up of some of the most special pearls that can be found. Freshwater Cultured Keshi Pearls. Its intense shine, its irregular baroque shape and its natural color are its most notable characteristics. Each pearl is unique. The size of the pearls is 8 -9 mm and they have been drilled at one end so that each pearl faces one side of the thread, giving a more asymmetrical and modern look.

The process of cultivating these pearls is also very special. To culture traditional pearls, a piece of mantle tissue from a donor mussel is embedded in a mussel and returned to the water to be surrounded by mother-of-pearl to create a pearl, two years later when it is removed from the water to extract the pearls that it has created, on some occasions, if the pearls obtained are of good quality, the mussel is closed again and returned to the water for another long period, but this time without including any nucleus. Since the pearl sac has already formed on the first occasion, the mussel continues to generate nacre, which results in a wonderful freshwater Keshi pearl.

At Secret & You we are proud to be one of the few brands that offer this type of good quality pearls.
